Tanglefoot Trail, New Albany MS

New Albany MS

Parking: off I-22 (US 78)
Pilot at exit 65
Could be short-term parking at the Walmart on exit 61

Access:
Access is dicey. I have cycled down the shoulder of the interstate, it is only a mile. The neighborhoods have small roads, no sidewalk, but very little traffic. A safer (though hilly) route would be to take Hwy 15 north out of the Pilot, turn left onto Ridgeland (just past the interstate) and follow it around to Hillcrest Drive. Go back over the highway and turn right on Pebblewood Drive. It winds around to Central, take a right and look for the trail to your left. It would be about 1.4 miles to the trail using this route.
