Access:
Go south from the truck stops on Center Road, turn left on Clay and look for the trail going over the road on a bridge. There is a cutoff to the right before you reach the bridge. Or you could continue down Center Road about a mile, turn left on SR 307 and look for the large trail-head.

Mill Creek Metropark Bike Trail, Austintown, OH, I-80 Exit 223

Access:
From the Pilot, go north from the truck stop, take the first left look for the path crossing the road. No sidewalks though. Safer access is by going around the fence, just west of the truck parking, south side of the fence. Cut through the tree line and the path is right there.

Sherman Pass, WY, I-80 exit 323

Access:
From the Rest Area, go east along Happy Jack Road, the dirt road just north of the truck parking, (be careful of the footing over the cattle-guard) see the trail-head about a third of a mile on the left. Once you know where the trails are, you could cut across the field to an opening in the wooden prairie fence.
Check at the rest area building for excellent trail maps. A map is a good idea, the network can be confusing.

Pole Mountain/Aspen Trails.

Length: As much as you can stand.
Width: Single track and double track
Surface: Mostly dirt, some crushed gravel
Elevation: 8640' The highest point on I-80

Walmart, Exit 5 (overnight OK)

Access:
From the Pilot, go south from the truck stop, sidewalks are good, go under the interstate and look for the first right after the exit ramp. The trail is just past the rest rooms. Go to the right for downtown, left for the state park and buffalo viewing area.

Bear River State Park Trail &
Bear River Greenway

Length: 6 miles
Width: 96”
Surface: Asphalt on the Greenway, Asphalt for part of State Park, the rest is crushed gravel
Elevation: 6,749'
Facilities: Rest rooms, exercise stations, historical/informational markers

Restaurants: Yes, downtown
Microbrewery: Yes, downtown
Pets: Yes
Cycling: Yes, but short. Hybrids OK on gravel portion
Safe Neighborhood: Yes, but watch for moose on the trail. Rare bear sightings
